\n\u2022 Provide& review Method Statements and Risk Assessments as required
\n\u2022 Provide and maintain systems of work which are safe and without risk to Health and Environment.
\n\u2022 Establish arrangements for the use, handling, storage and transport of articles and substances provided for
\nuse at work, which are safe and without risk to Health & Environment.
\n\u2022 Encourage safe behavior among their working staff.
\n\u2022 Ensure that all management decisions reflect our HSE intentions.
\n\u2022 Provide employees with such information, instruction, training and supervision as is necessary to secure
\ntheir
\nsafety and health at work and that of others who may be affected by their actions and the protection of the
\nenvironment.
\n\u2022 Carry out health & safety surveillance, when required.
\n\u2022 Monitor performance of Safety protection & health requirements to maintain company standards.
\nAll employees of the company are expected to undertake the following as part of their duties to the
\ncompany:
\n\u2022 Take reasonable care of their own health and safety, and that of others who may be affected by their acts or
\nomissions at work.
\n\u2022 Co-operate with others in the company to fulfill its statutory duties with respect to Health & Safety
\nprotection.
\n\u2022 Properly take care of and maintain P.P.E. issued to them.
\n\u2022 Operate to methods and instructions issued by the company.
\nTo ensure that this policy remains effective the company\u2019s Directors will:
\n\u2022 Review it annually, or at the time of significant changes within the business.
\n\u2022 Make any such changes known to employees.
\n\u2022 Maintain procedures for communication and consultation between all levels of staff on matters of Health,
\nSafety and Welfare protection.
\n\u2022 BEC\u2019s Safety Policy and Site Safety Instructions will be prominently displayed for compliance by the site
\nstaff
\nat a suitable location and will be updated whenever deemed required.
